Whoever said NO MAN IS AN ISLAND surely hasn't had empty moments.

The fact is, we are ALL islands...but we insist on being part of the same archipelago, and on "bridging the waters."

Nevertheless, being lonesome is inevitable, because human beings are inconsistent by nature, and at one point or another, they WILL fail you.

As I sip this cold, bitter beer, I think of the people who are perfectly comfortable by themselves, and I turn green with envy because I realize that although I have gotten used to doing things on my own, I still prefer the company of friends.

It is truly a sad, sad thing to discover that after all these years, you are still dependent on other people.
